Remote Contractual - Solutions Architect (US Audit Firm, WFH)

Description:

• The Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the company's network infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and efficiency of network systems.
• This role involves designing, developing, and deploying scalable, reliable, and secure network architectures.
• The Solutions Architect will implement and manage network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Responsibilities include monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure network performance.
• The position requires proactive maintenance and administration of the network infrastructure for optimal performance.
• The Solutions Architect will monitor network performance and availability, implementing changes as needed.
• High-level technical support for network issues will be provided, collaborating with other IT team members to resolve complex problems.
• Security measures will be implemented and managed to protect network integrity, confidentiality, and availability.
• Regular security assessments and audits will be conducted to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies.
• Detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and changes will be maintained.
• The Solutions Architect will prepare reports on network performance, incidents, and projects for management review.
• Collaboration with other IT professionals, including systems administrators, security experts, and software developers, is essential for seamless integration of network services.
• Effective communication with non-technical stakeholders to explain network-related issues and solutions is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of work experience as a Solutions Architect.
• Proficiency with network hardware such as Cisco CCNA and Juniper is required.
• A strong understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs is necessary.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and technologies is essential.
• Knowledge of security practices and tools such as firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS is required.
