Description:

  • Twilio is seeking a Conversational AI Engineer L3 to join the End User Computing & Operations team.
  • The role involves designing, developing, and implementing conversational bots to enhance business processes and operational efficiency.
  • Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, gathering requirements, and delivering automation solutions.
  • The engineer will design, develop, and deploy conversational AI solutions using platforms like Dialogflow and Microsoft Bot Framework.
  • The position requires implementing and optimizing NLP algorithms and ML models to enhance virtual assistants' accuracy and responsiveness.
  • The engineer will develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows to integrate AI capabilities into operations.
  • Security and compliance considerations must be addressed in AI implementations, requiring close collaboration with security teams.
  • Testing and debugging of AI applications to ensure reliability and scalability is essential.
  • Documentation of AI architectures, processes, and best practices is necessary for knowledge sharing and system integrity.
  • Staying updated with industry trends and advancements in AI bot technologies is crucial for enhancing solutions.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must embody Twilio’s values and have a customer-centric mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
  • Proficiency in supporting endpoint security standards and adhering to defined controls is necessary.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing AI applications, particularly in conversational AI, is essential.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or Java are required.
  • Experience with NLP frameworks and conversational AI platforms is necessary.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools for deployment and maintenance is required.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML techniques for enhancing conversational interfaces is essential.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git, is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues are necessary.
  • Candidates should have expertise in various programming languages and tools like JIRA, Slack, and GitHub.
  • Certifications such as ITIL v4 Foundation or similar, and advanced AWS, GCP, or Azure certifications are required.
  • Flexibility to work in a 24/7 operation and travel between office locations as needed is necessary.
