Remote Corporate Security Engineer

Description:

• Design, build, and maintain One’s Information Technology systems and processes with a focus on security
• Respond to user reports and issues, deploy controls, and refine processes
• Establish and oversee knowledge and content management, including hands-on updates to critical content
• Identify opportunities to automate and provide self-service for internal customers
• Lead projects to deliver on automation opportunities
• Manage the endpoint environment, including policy development, vulnerability monitoring, and incident planning
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the corporate SaaS environment
• Collaborate with IT & Security teams to develop and implement security controls
• Act as an escalation point for security concerns from the company’s user base
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies for security, data privacy, and disaster recovery
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures
• Act as the primary technical owner of several corporate systems

Requirements:

• 8+ years of IT experience with a focus on corporate security, ideally 3+ years dedicated solely to security
• Proficiency in designing, building, and operationalizing systems with a focus on SaaS services and tools
• Strong knowledge of macOS management and deployment tools like Jamf Pro
• Ability to take ownership of projects or tactical issues and bring them to completion independently
• Willingness to work across domains as needed by the team and business
• Ability to document processes and write up new procedures
• Domain knowledge in networking, compliance, authentication standards, and frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK and NIST
• Relevant certifications like AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Security+, and/or Apple Certified Support Professional are a plus
• Experience with AWS IAM and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Puppet, or Chef is a plus
• In-depth experience with Netskope, Zscaler, or similar ZTNA & DLP solutions is a plus
