99x Brazil is seeking a dedicated Credit Risk Data Analyst to enhance the team and drive risk management strategies within clients.
The role involves analyzing risk factors, assessing their impact on business, and recommending strategies to mitigate identified risks.
The analyst's expertise will be vital in maintaining compliance, optimizing processes, and effectively managing potential threats.
Responsibilities include conducting detailed portfolio analysis using advanced statistical techniques to identify trends, concentrations of risk, and emerging risk factors.
The analyst will review risk-based pricing models to align loan pricing with underlying credit risk while maintaining competitive positioning.
Collaboration with product and underwriting teams is required to develop and optimize credit policies based on data-driven insights.
Monitoring loan performance against expected outcomes, identifying deviations, and recommending policy/model adjustments is essential.
The role includes generating risk reports and developing automated dashboards and visualization tools to enhance monitoring efficiency and risk communication.
The analyst will create and maintain thorough documentation of all models, methodologies, and assumptions to ensure regulatory compliance.
Researching and implementing innovative analytical techniques to improve predictive accuracy of risk models is part of the job.
Performing vintage and cohort analysis to evaluate the performance of different loan populations over time is required.
Identifying early warning indicators for credit deterioration and developing proactive mitigation strategies is crucial.
Staying current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging analytical methodologies in consumer credit risk is expected.
Requirements:
A BSc or higher in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in risk analysis, compliance, or a related financial role is necessary.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on data interpretation and statistical methods are essential.
Knowledge of risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements relevant to the industry is required.
Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation is necessary.
Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, with strong data manipulation and analysis expertise is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration are essential.
The candidate must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
