Description:

Unit 410 is seeking a Cryptocurrency Security Engineer to join their experienced team of security, infrastructure, and cryptocurrency engineers.
The role involves empowering large stakeholders to use their cryptocurrency securely and innovatively by building institutional-grade systems and solutions for secure network participation.
Responsibilities include wallet hardening, system security, detection and response, and audit and review of security systems.
The engineer will work with teams to design wallets that interact with new cryptocurrency protocols and identify architectures that meet business needs while articulating residual security risks.
The position requires collaboration to design and harden new systems, utilizing various tools throughout the full lifecycle, including code signing, deployment, and access controls.
The engineer will also be responsible for generating high-signal alerts for off and on-chain environments and planning responses to minimize production incidents.
Evaluating the security of systems and mitigating risks directly or prioritizing fixes with engineering teams is also part of the role.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience working with production environments of any scale.
A strong interest in exploring new cryptocurrency networks at a low level, including specifications, implementation, and attack vectors, is essential.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize projects effectively and ship them to production is required.
