Description:

The Cybersecurity Analyst (The Digital Defender) position at our client in San Francisco involves monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents to ensure the protection of digital assets. The role requires proactive identification of vulnerabilities, risk mitigation, and strengthening of defenses to maintain system security and compliance. Responsibilities include security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, threat analysis, incident investigation, security policy enforcement, security awareness training, and tool management and automation.

Requirements:

Cybersecurity Expertise: Solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including network security, endpoint protection, threat detection, and incident response. Familiarity with cybercriminal tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to assess complex situations quickly. Proficiency in analyzing system logs, network traffic, and threat intelligence reports.
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools like firewalls, SIEM systems, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security software. Knowledge of scripting and automation for security processes.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication to report security incidents, vulnerabilities, and risks clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
