The CyberSecurity Engineer position is vital to the team as they will provide analysis to solve problems for clients.
This role primarily involves technical and incident response duties while providing subject matter expertise as needed.
Responsibilities include conducting forensic investigations, triaging active security events, recognizing attacker tools and tactics, running vulnerability assessments, communicating assessments to customers, developing custom scripts and methodologies, and creating comprehensive reports.
The position requires participation in an on-call rotation and knowledge transfer sessions, maintaining knowledge of BlackCloak’s solutions, mentoring team members, and collaborating with engineering and product teams.
Occasional work on nights and weekends may be required to address client incidents, and there is potential for limited travel.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in a senior infosec/cybersecurity analyst role.
A college degree in an Information Technology (IT/CS/CE) related discipline is a plus, with equivalent experience also considered.
Industry-recognized information security certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, OSCP, OSCE, and Security+ are a plus.
Experience in penetration and vulnerability testing, as well as Windows and macOS forensic investigation and vulnerability management, is required.
Candidates should have experience deploying, managing, and optimizing EDR tools to detect, respond to, and mitigate threats.
Technical knowledge of operating systems such as Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux is necessary.
The ability to operate independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously is essential.
A high degree of interpersonal communication skills and discretion for client privacy is required.

BlackCloak offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $120,000 a year, with final offer amounts determined by geographic location and candidate experience.
