Description:

  • ARC Group is seeking an Associate Cybersecurity Engineer for a 100% remote position, working during eastern time zone business hours.
  • This is a contract role expected to last through December 2025, with potential for extension or conversion to full-time employment.
  • The Cybersecurity team develops and manages next-generation solutions, systems, and assets that support the business and its subsidiaries.
  • Candidates will work in a collaborative and creative environment, utilizing and developing their skills to help people live healthier lives.
  • Fundamental hands-on experience with core infrastructure operating systems, host compliance, file integrity monitoring solutions, and advanced malware defensive technologies is required.
  • Candidates should have base knowledge of IBM AIX, Red Hat Enterprise, MAC OSX, and Windows Enterprise operating systems.
  • Experience in fast-paced business operations that require agility while adhering to diverse regulatory and security frameworks is necessary.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
  • The ability to work independently and a willingness to seek advice or assistance is essential.
  • A basic understanding of security concepts and controls for networks, applications, and operating systems is required.
  • Candidates should be able to troubleshoot and investigate security-related issues and have experience or knowledge in vulnerability and patch management.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and administrative skills are necessary.
  • Candidates must demonstrate strong corporate work ethics and documentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude are essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are required.
  • Candidates should be passionate about technology and eager to learn new things quickly.
  • Strong solutioning skills to identify and address technology gaps are necessary.
  • A team player mentality that recognizes the bigger picture and values teamwork is essential.
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish (speaking/reading) is a must.
  • Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) utilizing Netskope, Symantec, and Microsoft DLP is required.
  • Candidates should have 4+ years of related work experience, including 2+ years in Cybersecurity and 2+ years in Information Technology Infrastructure.
  • A related Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Candidates must obtain the SSCP certification within 180 days of full-time hire.
