Remote Cybersecurity Engineer III - Application Data Security

Description:

• The Cybersecurity Data Protection team at McDonald's is dedicated to securing and safeguarding the company's information across all devices and at all times.
• They are looking for determined cybersecurity professionals to join them in maintaining a culture of security without compromising on data protection controls' quality and effectiveness.
• The team is expanding and is currently seeking a Manager, Data Encryption to oversee the application data encryption roadmap and operations.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with the Application Data Protection team on CLM operations, supporting EKM operations, developing EKM solution reports, ensuring consistency of encryption methods, and making recommendations for EKM service improvements.

Requirements:

• Must have 6+ years of experience in IT and/or cybersecurity.
• Need to have 2+ years of experience in implementing enterprise-wide data encryption strategies.
• Should demonstrate competency in solving diverse and complex business problems effectively.
• Must possess program/portfolio management experience in implementing global processes and technology platforms.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with strong leadership skills to drive organizational change.
• Excellent judgment, quick decision-making skills, and creativity in complex situations.
• Must be adaptable to changing needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Forward-thinking with solid business insight.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with a proactive approach.
• High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with key encryption and certificate lifecycle management platforms, knowledge of cybersecurity control frameworks and standards, professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM, and familiarity with multinational companies and distributed business models.
