Description:

Clearwaters.IT is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to oversee the design, development, implementation, and integration of Military OneSource architectures and systems across computing, network, and enclave environments.
The role ensures compliance with DoD Information Assurance (IA) requirements.
Responsibilities include ensuring that both development and operational systems are secure and functional, including program of record systems and special processing nodes with IT interconnectivity.
Key tasks involve evaluating security requirements, implementing security systems, and verifying system integrity through test scripts.
The SME will ensure compliance with DoD and federal cybersecurity policies and assist in updating cybersecurity policies.
This position is 100% remote and requires an active Secret clearance.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 15 years of relevant experience in system architecture and cybersecurity.
A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required.
An active Secret clearance is mandatory.
Candidates must be U.S. Citizens.
Proficiency in using security technologies and tools relevant to AWS cloud environments is necessary.
Strong knowledge of privacy regulations and HIPAA standards is required.
A strong understanding of DoD IA requirements and cybersecurity policies is essential.
Candidates must be fluent in English.
Strong knowledge of DoD Instruction 8510.01, Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology (IT) is required.
