Remote Data Analysis Team/Tech Lead

Description:

• As the Data Analysis Team/Tech Lead, you will define metrics to track team performance, optimize request execution time, and streamline data management processes.

• Responsibilities include executing data strategies and analytical best practices to drive insights that support revenue growth and operational optimization.

• Partnering with Project Managers, you will ensure alignment on technical configurations, adherence to guidelines, and implementation of quality controls.
• You will oversee data governance, privacy, and compliance, performing quality checks on data integrity and ensuring adherence to data standards.
• Implementing advanced data science and machine learning solutions, you will analyze campaign data and offer optimization insights.
• Acting as a data analysis expert in client meetings, you will provide technical insights and strategic recommendations that meet project goals.
• You will mentor team members, provide technical guidance, and develop individual growth plans with regular skill assessments and support.
• Collaborating with Project Managers, you will monitor team workflows, conduct performance reviews, and drive continuous workflow improvements.
• You will coordinate with other departments, the IT team, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and aligned infrastructure support.
• Identifying and resolving technical issues early in projects, you will assist developers in problem-solving and foster ongoing technical learning within the team.

Requirements:

• You must have 4-5 years of experience in leadership roles within data analysis, demonstrating a proven ability to address complex, non-standard challenges and develop customized solutions to meet business objectives.
• Strong expertise in data modeling and data visualization design is required, including advanced skills in Power Query/DAX for efficient data transformation and insights delivery.
• Proficiency in data collection, cleaning, and preparation techniques is essential to ensure high-quality data for analysis, including best practices in predictive analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL for database management and manipulation is necessary, along with experience with AWS Athena / Azure Data Exporter and other cloud-based data handling tools.
• You should be proficient in Python, including frameworks and libraries for data analysis, automation, and data science tasks; API integration and REST API principles.
• Expertise in Power BI for report creation, deployment, workspace management, and admin portal configuration is required, along with proficiency in Power BI Paginated Report Builder.
• You must be skilled in integrating third-party APIs and managing data flow between systems, with experience using Postman for API testing and AWS Lambda / Azure Functions for data-driven solutions.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including complex functions, data analysis tools, and modeling capabilities essential for data preparation and reporting is required.
• Effective collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders to understand requirements, provide guidance, and deliver high-impact data solutions is necessary.
• Strong logical and critical thinking skills to solve problems, design helpful solutions, and improve products, ensuring alignment with quality standards and best practices are essential.
• Proficiency in English at an upper-intermediate/advanced level is required, and knowledge of Ukrainian is a big plus.
