Description:
The position is for a Data Analyst at a profitable SaaS business servicing international law firms and government departments.
The role is fully remote, with a requirement to work UK hours.
It is a full-time, permanent position with a 40-hour work week from Monday to Friday, subject to a 6-month probation period.
The salary is benchmarked between £42,000 and £50,000, depending on experience.
The Data Analyst will drive insights for user acquisition, retention, and expansion through product usage.
Responsibilities include collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data to identify trends, collaborating with various departments, providing statistical analysis, ensuring data integrity, and developing predictive models.
The ideal candidate should have meticulous attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fully remote team.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in a data analysis or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced SaaS or technology environment.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as Python, R, or similar for advanced data manipulation and analysis is necessary.
Understanding of the data pipeline and familiarity with ETL processes is required.
Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques such as regression and hypothesis testing is essential.
Experience working with large datasets and deriving actionable insights is needed.
Proficiency in Lucene query syntax for querying and analyzing data in OpenSearch is required.
Strong SQL skills for working with AWS Quicksight to create reports and visualizations are necessary.
Advanced Excel capabilities for quick data manipulation and supplementary analysis are required.
Experience with Google Analytics for user behavior tracking and performance metrics is necessary.
Familiarity with Hotjar for heatmaps and user interaction insights is required.
Ability to define and monitor product KPIs and OKRs is essential.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for collaboration across teams and presenting findings to stakeholders.
Candidates must have the right to live and work within the UK or be a self-employed contractor who can work UK hours.
Experience working within a remote team is required.
