The company is seeking a Finance Data Analyst to enhance business outcomes through analytics.
The role involves collaborating with business team leaders to formulate monitoring metrics and performance objectives.
Responsibilities include writing SQL queries, generating charts, and developing dashboards.
The primary work will be with the Finance team, but support may be provided across various departments such as Engineering, Product, Sales, Marketing, Support, Legal, or People Operations.
Key responsibilities include working closely with the finance team to understand analytics and reporting needs, creating sophisticated analyses and reporting, visualizing analytics results for stakeholders, identifying new opportunities through data analysis, and monitoring and analyzing reports and dashboards.

Requirements:

A degree in statistics, math, actuarial science, economics, data science, computer science, or a related quantitative discipline is required.
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience working with data, including complex dataset creation, reporting, profiling, and machine learning, is necessary.
Expertise in using SQL to extract data and create actionable datasets is required.
Proficiency in using Python for data processing and analytics is essential.
The ability to complete analyses with minimal guidance is expected.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Redash, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI is required.
Candidates must be comfortable making impactful decisions in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment and able to pivot quickly to new priorities.
Attention to detail and the ability to multitask are crucial.
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong business judgment and communication skills are necessary.
Fluency in English is required.
