Description:

  • The Data Analyst collaborates with others to support data analysis and reporting for strategic analytic projects.
  • This role involves maintaining and providing data analysis, metrics, and other data-related support to inform various internal stakeholders.
  • The Data Analyst may also provide project support for data science and visualization for organizational initiatives.
  • Under the CRFlex program, this position is eligible for Fully Remote status for candidates living more than 75 miles from one of the main office locations.
  • The successful candidate must reside in specific states including Arizona, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, Texas, Vermont, or Washington D.C.
  • Responsibilities include preparing qualitative and quantitative data, developing methods of analysis, and improving existing methods.
  • The Data Analyst will assist in interpreting data analysis and developing actionable insights.
  • This role involves providing data analysis with insights into the best methods of presenting data and fact-checking data.
  • The Data Analyst may support basic statistical analysis and visualization to enhance CR products and services.
  • Clear and effective communication of data analysis outcomes to internal stakeholders is essential.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as required, with compensation aligned to the collective bargaining agreement if classified at a higher level.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in computer science, informatics, or statistics is required.
  • Some experience in applied data science and/or data analysis with a focus on innovative analytical approaches and effective visualization is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly Access and Excel, is necessary; experience with SAS statistical software is preferred.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and visualization software such as SPSS, R, Python, or Tableau is required.
  • Very strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability in written communication, preparing documentation and reports is required.
  • Strong communication skills to present information clearly and concisely to various audiences are necessary.
  • Detail-oriented approach to tasks, with thoroughness and monitoring of work is expected.
  • Effective time management skills to accomplish tasks by established deadlines are required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build solid working relationships across the organization are essential.
