Description:
The Data Analyst 4 position is a remote role based in Daleville, VA, with a contract duration of 12+ months.
The job requires leadership skills, including the ability to work as a leader.
Strong oral and written communication skills are essential for this role.
The analyst will be responsible for delivering change orders, which includes designing and building required monthly reports.
Monthly reports must be produced on defined schedules and submitted with clear communication.
The role involves analyzing data and providing assessments and recommendations to team members.
Additional reporting is needed to support procurement initiatives, which includes designing and building new reports.
The analyst will conduct deep dive reviews of data and meet one-on-one with customers, such as colleges, to provide assessments and recommendations.
The position requires identifying impacts or changes needed to policies and procedures, including business rules, job aids, and procedures.
The analyst will draft procedures that capture the effort required in the design, development of reports, data analysis, and subsequent recommendations.
Creating end-user training content to support organizational change management (OCM) for compliance improvements is also a key responsibility.
The role includes conducting necessary research related to state laws, policies, and comparisons to other higher education institutions and agencies in Virginia and other states.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and building required monthly reports is required.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in producing monthly reports on defined schedules and submitting communication.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in analyzing data and providing assessments and recommendations to team members is required.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in identifying impacts or changes needed to policies and procedures, including business rules, job aids, and procedures.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in creating end-user training content to support OCM for compliance improvements is required.
Strong understanding and implementation of change management principles is required, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in data analysis and reporting.
The ability to read and interpret policy and law, including Virginia Procurement law and policy (VPPA and APSPM), is desired, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
