Description:

  • The Data Analyst 4 position is a remote role based in Daleville, VA, with a contract duration of 12+ months.
  • The job requires leadership skills, including the ability to work as a leader.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are essential for this role.
  • The analyst will be responsible for delivering change orders, which includes designing and building required monthly reports.
  • Monthly reports must be produced on defined schedules and submitted with clear communication.
  • The role involves analyzing data and providing assessments and recommendations to team members.
  • Additional reporting is needed to support procurement initiatives, which includes designing and building new reports.
  • The analyst will conduct deep dive reviews of data and meet one-on-one with customers, such as colleges, to provide assessments and recommendations.
  • The position requires identifying impacts or changes needed to policies and procedures, including business rules, job aids, and procedures.
  • The analyst will draft procedures that capture the effort required in the design, development of reports, data analysis, and subsequent recommendations.
  • Creating end-user training content to support organizational change management (OCM) for compliance improvements is also a key responsibility.
  • The role includes conducting necessary research related to state laws, policies, and comparisons to other higher education institutions and agencies in Virginia and other states.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and building required monthly reports is required.
  • Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in producing monthly reports on defined schedules and submitting communication.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in analyzing data and providing assessments and recommendations to team members is required.
  • Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in identifying impacts or changes needed to policies and procedures, including business rules, job aids, and procedures.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in creating end-user training content to support OCM for compliance improvements is required.
  • Strong understanding and implementation of change management principles is required, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • The ability to read and interpret policy and law, including Virginia Procurement law and policy (VPPA and APSPM), is desired, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
