Description:
Mojo Mortgages is on a mission to become the largest and most disruptive mortgage broker in the UK, supported by brands like Uswitch, Money, Confused, and Zoopla.
The company is looking for a Data Analyst to join their marketing team and lead data initiatives for the Protection/Mortgage departments.
The role involves leading data projects and working across various departments such as Marketing, Sales/Ops, and Product, utilizing different data disciplines including dashboarding, deep dives, and applying machine learning techniques.
The focus is on self-service data access for stakeholders to make informed decisions based on data rather than intuition.
The Data Analyst will design and deliver analyses to support decision-making and build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in a Data Analyst role.
Strong SQL skills are required.
Experience with Tableau or other visualization tools is necessary.
Preferred candidates will have experience in financial services, specifically in mortgages.
A curious and proactive approach to data is essential.
The ability to translate business problems into data problems and present actionable insights is crucial.
Excellent communication skills and high levels of organization are required, along with a passion for data-driven improvements.
It would be beneficial to have experience with DBT, data modeling, statistics, programming, and machine learning/AI in Python, R, or another programming language.
Familiarity with GCP or AWS, particularly their ML/AI services, is also desirable.
Benefits:
The position offers a competitive salary between £50,000 and £55,000, depending on experience.
Employees receive 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, an extra half day off for their birthday, a full day off for moving house, and two companywide closure days per year.
Employees can work from anywhere in the world for up to 30 days per year.
