Description:
Tangelo is seeking a seasoned Data Analyst to join their Platform Department, focusing on improving access to nutritious food for low-income families and those with chronic conditions.
The role involves owning metrics, reporting, and data visualization tools to empower data-driven decisions.
The Data Analyst will collaborate with engineers, researchers, designers, and product professionals to design and implement key components of the product and platform.
Responsibilities include understanding business needs, designing reports and dashboards, quickly turning business questions into scalable data visualizations, ensuring data integrity, and communicating effectively across teams.
The position requires demonstrating sound business judgment and the ability to influence others.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
A customer-first mindset is essential, ensuring the end-user is central to every decision.
A customer-centric approach to product development is required, focusing on creating robust, scalable, accessible, and user-friendly solutions.
Experience in 0-to-1 product development is preferred, with a strong inclination toward shipping quickly and maintaining high quality.
Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and work seamlessly with cross-functional teams is necessary.
Preferred skills include experience with data pipelines, running migrations and data backfills, database performance fine-tuning, and working in a HIPAA compliant environment.
