Description:
The Data Analyst position at MagicPace involves supporting end-to-end analytics solutions by gathering requirements, establishing key metrics, building data models, designing dashboards, and analyzing data to provide actionable insights for customers and internal teams.
The role requires deep diving into complex data across various sources to offer advanced analyses and insights for clients.
Responsibilities include optimizing, updating, reviewing, and troubleshooting data to support new and existing projects in collaboration with the data team.
Collaboration with product and engineering teams is essential to build scalable data solutions and new capabilities.
The Data Analyst will provide comprehensive analytics support to customers and internal teams, developing resources to enable data access and self-service.
Requirements:
Strong communication skills are necessary to transform data into a story and explain complex concepts to different audiences and stakeholders.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in the e-commerce/marketing industry, specifically in a client-facing role, is required.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SQL, along with experience in reporting and visualization tools. Knowledge of Looker, dbt, Snowflake, GitHub, AWS, and Fivetran is advantageous.
Familiarity with LookML is essential for this role.
The ideal candidate should be a self-starter capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving skills are crucial for analyzing complex questions, supporting customer inquiries, and enhancing the company's commerce data product.
Ability to translate analyses into actionable recommendations for the business and customers.
Experience in analyzing large datasets from different source structures and data models for reporting consumption.
Additional experience in building or analyzing metrics in an e-commerce business model, including areas like marketing attribution or web analytics, is a plus.
