Remote Data Analyst

Description:

• Employment Hero is seeking a Data Analyst to join their Data Analytics & Insights team.
• The role involves providing valuable data, analysis, and insights that support business strategy and decision-making.
• The Data Analyst will report to the Senior Insights Analyst and focus on developing advanced data assets and analytics.
• Responsibilities include servicing a high-demand data request queue across various subject areas, developing and maintaining data models and dashboards, and generating actionable insights from complex data sets.
• The Data Analyst will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, ensuring data accuracy and integrity while integrating insights into commercial strategies.
• Continuous self-development and a willingness to learn new skills are essential for this role.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is required.
• Candidates should have 3+ years of experience in an analytical role, preferably within a SaaS environment.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and BI tools, especially Tableau, is necessary.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions are essential.
• A proven track record of influencing decision-making processes through data-driven insights is required.
• Candidates must possess exceptional analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong presentation skills for communicating analyses and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels are necessary.
• Experience working with Product, GTM, and/or CX metrics is preferred.
• Knowledge of statistical modeling tools and techniques is an advantage.
• Familiarity with data pipeline management and experience using pipeline management tools such as DBT is highly regarded.
