Remote Data Analyst, AI

Description:

• Motive empowers individuals managing physical operations with tools to enhance safety, productivity, and profitability.

• As an entry-level Data Analyst in the AI team, you will support the development, evaluation, and hardening of Motive’s AI products.
• Your responsibilities will include data exploration and visualization to identify trends and patterns using tools like SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries.
• You will analyze performance metrics of AI models and identify areas for improvement.
• You will provide insights for feature improvement and contribute to the model development process.
• Conducting A/B testing and experimentation to assess the efficacy of AI models will be part of your role.
• You will carry out root-cause problem solving for AI events and collaborate with the model development team for feature improvements.
• Creating dashboards and reports to communicate data analysis results to business stakeholders is expected.
• You will participate in cross-functional collaboration with Data Annotation, QA, and Product teams.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Experience in SQL and Redash/Snowflake, including writing complex queries, is necessary.
• Proficiency in Python and data analysis and visualization tools such as Pandas, Plotly, or Seaborn is required.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential for this position.
• Demonstrated experience in Computer Vision or Machine Learning is a strong plus, which can include final year projects, coursework, freelance work, or industrial experience.
