Koala Health is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Insights and Analytics team.
The goal is to make managing pet health simple and delightful through innovative products and services.
The Data Analyst will use data to enhance customer experiences, support business decisions, and drive company-wide innovations.
Responsibilities include performing quantitative analyses to evaluate product launches, workflow improvements, and new opportunities.
The role involves collaborating with various teams to identify data-driven insights and prioritize key projects for product and operational improvements.
The Data Analyst will utilize internal data and other sources to understand customers, workflow processes, and business partners, sharing insights across the company.
The position requires working with cross-functional teams and leadership to assess new product opportunities and market trends.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 2+ years of professional experience in an analytical role, preferably in e-commerce or subscription businesses.
Expertise in SQL and the ability to analyze large datasets is required.
The ideal candidate should be a data sleuth, capable of identifying data sources, assessing the feasibility of joins, and determining data reasonableness based on business insights.
Ability to wireframe and mockup potential data visualization solutions to address business questions and KPIs is necessary.
Familiarity with technical tools such as R or Python and visualization platforms like Looker, Tableau, Amplitude, or Heap is preferred.
A strong sense of personal initiative and ownership is essential.
