Remote Data Analyst

Description:

• The Data Analyst position at HICX involves collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from various sources using SQL, Java, Python, and other tools.
• Responsibilities include creating and maintaining ETL scripts for data transformations, developing data models, dashboards, and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders, and preparing customized reports using analytical tools.
• The role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, ensuring data accuracy and consistency, and assisting with ad-hoc data analysis requests.
• The Data Analyst will work with leading organizations like EDF Energy, BAE Systems, Novartis, and Mondelez on challenging projects, gaining exposure and interaction directly with customers.

Requirements:

• Essential requirements for the position include 2 years+ experience in a data analysis role in Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel (including vlookups and pivot tables), data analysis tools like Power BI or Tableau, and data visualization and dashboard development is necessary.
• Strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in spoken and written English are essential.
• Desirable skills include experience with JSON, XML, SOAP, REST technologies, knowledge of data warehousing concepts, experience with ERP and SaaS platforms, programming languages like Java, Python, C#, or .NET, and certifications in data analysis or SQL.
