The company is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their dynamic Content and Data team.
The role involves developing and scaling a matching algorithm using AI, alongside the Data Engineering Team.
Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, developing data scraping solutions, collaborating with data scientists on AI-driven algorithms, ensuring data quality, optimizing system performance, deploying machine learning models, evaluating emerging technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining documentation for data systems.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, focusing on building and managing data pipelines and infrastructure is required.
Proficiency in Python for at least 5 years is mandatory.
Hands-on experience with big data frameworks and tools such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka is essential.
Candidates should have proficiency with relational databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL, as well as experience with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB.
Experience with AWS cloud platforms is required.
A strong understanding of data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing concepts is necessary.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills are essential for the role.
Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
Preferred qualifications include experience in deploying machine learning models, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools, knowledge of data privacy regulations, and strong communication skills.
