The position is for a Senior Data Engineer within the dynamic Content and Data team, responsible for developing and scaling the matching algorithm using AI.
Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, developing data scraping solutions, collaborating with data scientists on AI-driven algorithms, ensuring data quality, optimizing system performance, deploying machine learning models, evaluating emerging technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining documentation and standards.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is mandatory.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, focusing on building and managing data pipelines and infrastructure is required.
Proficiency in Python with at least 5 years of experience is necessary.
Hands-on experience with big data frameworks and tools such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka is essential.
Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB, is required.
Experience with AWS cloud platforms is necessary.
A strong understanding of data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing concepts is required.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities are mandatory.
Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
Preferred qualifications include experience deploying machine learning models, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker), knowledge of data privacy regulations, and excellent communication skills.
