Description:
The Data Analyst Intern role will report to the Product Owner – Analytics & AI.
The intern will assist with model and program development tasks related to the analytics of customers’ cryptographic assets.
This analytics work aims to improve customers’ security posture by providing advanced intelligence capabilities within Keyfactor’s software products.
The position is based in the United States and can be performed remotely when necessary.
Applicants must hold US citizenship or US permanent resident status.
Responsibilities include working with the US Product Management and Engineering teams to build software solutions for Fortune 500 companies and government agencies.
The intern will participate in designing and scoping product enhancements related to data analytics.
The role involves designing, training, testing, and applying models using appropriate machine learning techniques.
The intern will test and review code for quality assurance.
The intern will study selected customer data and generate reports to help prioritize work item backlog for analytics products by value to customers.
The role includes innovating new techniques for analyzing data that could provide value to customers.
The intern will help refine the long-term strategy for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should be working toward a degree in computer science or a related field.
Experience writing Python and/or C# with attention to code style and quality is required.
Knowledge of cryptography, X.509 digital certificates, and/or network security is a plus.
Knowledge of Machine Learning and AI methodologies is also a plus.
The candidate should be comfortable working with and learning new concepts in the fields of cybersecurity and AI.
