Remote Data Analyst (Junior Data Scientist)

Description:

• As a Data Analyst / Junior Data Scientist at Ultimate Beauty, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to provide actionable insights for the business.
• You will identify relevant data sources, collect and organize data, build predictive models, and create visualizations to support decision-making processes.
• Your work will directly impact marketing strategies, product development, and overall business performance.
• Key responsibilities include data collection and management, data processing and analysis, predictive modeling and machine learning, data visualization and reporting, and managing data infrastructure and tools.

Requirements:

• Strong mathematical and numeracy skills are required.
• Intermediate understanding of databases such as SQL Server, PosGreSQL, and NoSQL DB (e.g., MongoDB) is necessary.
• Proficiency in reporting and data visualization tools like Business Objects, PowerBi, and Tableau is essential.
• Knowledge of website scripts such as XML, Javascript, and JSON is needed.
• Understanding of ETL frameworks and tools, including Alteryx and Microsoft SSIS, is required.
• Familiarity with digital marketing analytics tools like Google 360 and Google Analytics is a must.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and insights from data are necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling is crucial.
• Effective presentation skills and problem-solving skills are required.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are needed.
• Understanding of the eCommerce industry and marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, and Walmart is essential.
