Description:

DoorDash Labs is an independent team within DoorDash focused on exploring robotics and automation to transform last-mile logistics.
The role involves redefining last-mile logistics through advanced technologies, including robotics and automation.
The data analyst will own analytics and insights across multiple technical and product areas, ensuring data is structured for clear measurement of business and product performance.
The analyst will define strategies for commercial, operations, and autonomy insights to drive product improvements and answer critical business questions.
The position requires direct reporting to the product management team and support for engineers and business leaders in bringing autonomous solutions to market.
Responsibilities include creating high-value visualizations and dashboards and acting as the primary data analytics partner for stakeholders across engineering, product, and leadership.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, computer science, management information systems, or a related field, or equivalent related experience is required.
Candidates should have 3-6 years of experience in data analytics or business analytics.
Experience with databases such as Redshift, Oracle, Trino, Snowflake, or similar systems is necessary.
Proficiency in SQL is required, along with experience in multiple data visualization or business intelligence tools; experience with Sigma Computing is preferred.
Some experience in Python or similar programming languages for building ETL pipelines is needed.
The candidate must be able to identify how data can be structured and leveraged to drive meaningful insights.
The ability to define meaningful metrics and KPIs, ensuring data is structured and accessible for ongoing reporting, dashboarding, and deeper analytics is essential.
The candidate should be proactive in engaging with stakeholders to understand business challenges.
