Description:

• DoorDash Labs is an independent team within DoorDash focused on exploring robotics and automation to transform last-mile logistics.
• The role involves redefining last-mile logistics through advanced technologies, including robotics and automation.
• The data analyst will own analytics and insights across multiple technical and product areas, ensuring data is structured for clear measurement of business and product performance.
• The analyst will define strategies for commercial, operations, and autonomy insights to drive product improvements and answer critical business questions.
• The position requires direct reporting to the product management team and support for engineers and business leaders in bringing autonomous solutions to market.
• Responsibilities include creating high-value visualizations and dashboards and acting as the primary data analytics partner for stakeholders across engineering, product, and leadership.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, computer science, management information systems, or a related field, or equivalent related experience is required.
• Candidates should have 3-6 years of experience in data analytics or business analytics.
• Experience with databases such as Redshift, Oracle, Trino, Snowflake, or similar systems is necessary.
• Proficiency in SQL is required, along with experience in multiple data visualization or business intelligence tools; experience with Sigma Computing is preferred.
• Some experience in Python or similar programming languages for building ETL pipelines is needed.
• The candidate must be able to identify how data can be structured and leveraged to drive meaningful insights.
• The ability to define meaningful metrics and KPIs, ensuring data is structured and accessible for ongoing reporting, dashboarding, and deeper analytics is essential.
• The candidate should be proactive in engaging with stakeholders to understand business challenges.
