Description:
We are looking for a Data Analyst to support our Inventory Analyst/Planning Lead in production planning, forecasting, and logistics optimization.
This role will focus on data collection, analysis, and reporting to improve inventory accuracy, demand forecasting, and cost efficiency.
The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience in supply chain data analysis, and proficiency in data tools and ERP systems.
Key responsibilities include collecting, cleaning, and analyzing inventory, production, and logistics data to support decision-making.
The Data Analyst will develop and maintain inventory tracking dashboards to monitor stock levels, demand trends, and supply chain efficiency.
They will generate forecasting models based on historical data, market trends, and customer demand.
The role involves creating performance reports to assess vendor, warehouse, and 3PL logistics efficiency.
The Data Analyst will assist in demand forecasting and production planning by providing data-driven insights.
They will identify inventory discrepancies and recommend solutions to improve stock accuracy.
The position requires tracking inbound shipments and warehouse operations to ensure proper documentation and compliance.
The Data Analyst will support cost analysis for vendor and 3PL contract reviews, identifying opportunities for savings.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance logistics and supply chain operations is essential.
The role includes suggesting automation and process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Business, Statistics, or a related field is required.
The candidate should have 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, inventory planning, or supply chain analytics.
Proficiency in Excel (including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and Macros), SQL, and data visualization tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is necessary.
Experience working with ERP systems and supply chain software is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail are essential.
The ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into actionable insights is required.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment are necessary.
Knowledge of forecasting models and statistical analysis is important.
Experience in logistics coordination and vendor performance analysis is preferred.
Familiarity with supply chain cost optimization strategies is beneficial.
