Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical professional to join our team as a Data Analyst.
In this role, you will be working with the team to gather, analyze, evaluate, and organize client data from various sources and systems.
This role will be working closely with business stakeholders to understand their data and make recommendations on how they can use their data effectively.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background, a good track record with data analysis methodologies, and a drive to contribute and work with the team to achieve team goals in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include gathering, analyzing, interpreting, and evaluating datasets and source systems to define the fields and purpose.
You will document findings, observations, and assumptions.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define measurement strategies, establish goals, and/or resolve data issues.
You will develop and maintain customized reports and dashboards with Google BigQuery and QuickSight to track key metrics and KPIs related to the business at hand.
Conduct in-depth analysis of the data to identify areas of improvement and provide actionable recommendations.
Collaborate and provide data-driven insights to achieve best practices.
Validate data for accuracy and completeness.
Monitor dashboard performance, identify and troubleshoot technical issues, and work closely with the data and development team to ensure optimal data pipeline and dashboard functionality.
Prepare documentation in support of the data analysis conducted, dashboard creation, testing, and maintenance.
Perform other duties assigned related to the role.
Requirements:
On day one, we'll expect you to have 2+ years experience in data analysis, designing, and developing dashboards.
You should have a strong knowledge working with data from databases and source systems.
You must be proficient in data analysis tools and techniques, with the ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
Proven expertise in SQL, Google BigQuery, and AWS is required.
Experience collaborating with business and IT teams is necessary.
You should be proficient in creating test cases, performing data quality checks, testing, and presenting test results.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail, are essential.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data and insights in a clear and concise manner are required.
You must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Be open to project-focused tasks which are subject to client deadlines.
A fully functional and up-to-date computer with which to perform duties is necessary.
You must be willing to install next-generation endpoint protection on the computer.
You should be a current resident of the Philippines and can perform work from there.
Willingness to work in the US Pacific Timezone up to 20 hours a week is required.
Strong knowledge of Excel (formulas and pivot table) is preferred.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
