Remote Data Analyst (Power BI)

Description:

• We are seeking a Data Analyst to join the dynamic retail team specializing in luxury accessories from renowned brands like Pandora Jewelry and Steve Madden Footwear.
• The role involves designing and developing engaging Power BI dashboards that empower teams to make data-driven decisions.
• You will create a robust reporting system by integrating data from legacy systems, Shopify, Microsoft Dynamics, Excel, MySQL, and more.
• The position requires continuous improvement of existing reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights that align with business objectives.
• You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and deliver tailored reporting solutions that align with business goals and measure success effectively.
• The role also includes exploring and implementing new reporting tools and methodologies to continuously improve the way we visualize and interpret data.

Requirements:

• A degree in data analytics, computer science, or a related field is required.
• Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience in a data-related or business intelligence position.
• Fluency in written and spoken English (C1-C2) is necessary.
• Proficiency in data mining and business intelligence tools, particularly Power BI, along with strong report writing skills is essential.
• A working knowledge of automation and database management is required.
• Expertise in ETL technologies such as SQL, APIs, and data visualization platforms is necessary.
• Mastery of Power BI for building complex reports from various data sources and interactive dashboards is a must.
• Experience in both back-end and front-end development, with a strong awareness of UI design, is required.
• Strong analytical skills, critical thinking abilities, and a passion for data are essential.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a problem-solving mindset are necessary for this role.
• Experience in a similar industry and an understanding of KPIs in retail would be a plus.
• A good sense of humor is appreciated.
