Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Data Analyst - Power BI Specialist to analyze, design, and implement data models and Power BI reports and dashboards for a critical, large-scale e-Government project.
The position is available in Athens, Heraklion, Rethymnon, or remotely.
Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and translating them into data-driven solutions.
The role involves designing and implementing Power BI reports and dashboards that deliver key business insights.
You will develop and optimize data models within Power BI, ensuring efficient data integration and reporting performance.
The position requires creating and managing Power BI Dataflows, connecting and transforming data from various sources for reporting needs.
Writing efficient SQL queries to retrieve, clean, and transform data from different databases like SQL Server and PostgreSQL is essential.
You will utilize DAX in Power BI to create measures and calculated columns for in-depth analysis.
Publishing and managing Power BI reports and dashboards in the Power BI Service is part of the role, ensuring accessibility and usability for stakeholders.
The position includes overseeing the organization of reports within Power BI workspaces, managing permissions and access rights for users.
Troubleshooting and optimizing Power BI reports to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance is also required.

Requirements:

A university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Software or Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 2+ years of experience in business intelligence or data analysis, with a strong focus on Power BI.
Proficiency in DAX for calculations and data modeling is necessary.
Experience with Power Query for data transformation and cleaning is required.
Candidates should have experience with publishing, sharing, and managing reports in the Power BI Service, including workspace administration.
A strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices is essential.
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL for data retrieval is required.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are necessary.
Fluency in oral and written English is required.
