The focus of the Power BI Development project includes SQL, DBT, and limited use of Azure for Power BI solutions.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards, writing and optimizing SQL queries for data extraction and transformation, utilizing DBT for transformations and data modeling in Snowflake, and working with DAX to optimize Power BI calculations and performance.
The role also involves integrating data sources, ensuring data consistency across reports, collaborating with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs, and ensuring data security and governance best practices within Power BI and Azure.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of SQL for data querying, transformations, and performance optimization is required.
Experience in building Power BI dashboards and reports is essential.
The ability to write DAX expressions to create complex calculations in Power BI is necessary.
Experience with data modeling and transformations using DBT is required.
Familiarity with data-related Azure services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, or Event Grid is needed.
Proficiency with AI productivity enablement tools, including experience using AI-powered development tools like GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT, is required.
