Description:
The Data Analyst will be a key member of the Analytics Center of Excellence (ACoE) with a focus on product analytics while supporting various business areas including Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Donor Development.
This role requires a resourceful, self-sufficient, and proactive analyst skilled in data analysis, capable of building data pipelines, dashboards, and automation workflows independently.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in SQL, Python, and UI/UX analytics, with a passion for solving complex problems and creating impactful insights from raw data.
Responsibilities include analyzing user behavior, conducting cohort analyses, collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing complex SQL queries, developing dashboards, leveraging product analytics tools, designing A/B tests, ensuring data quality, and staying current on emerging trends in product analytics.
The role aims to empower departments to become self-sufficient in their analytics capabilities and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
3-5 years of experience in data analysis with a strong background in product analytics and a proven track record of working across multiple business functions.
Advanced SQL skills for querying complex datasets and building custom data models are required.
Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and developing quick ETL workflows is necessary.
Experience with product analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Amplitude, or Mixpanel is essential.
Familiarity with UI/UX analytics, including heatmaps and user flow tracking, is required.
Expertise in creating dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or other visualization tools is necessary.
Strong foundation in statistical analysis, A/B testing, and experimentation methodologies is required.
Proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders across various departments is essential.
Strong communication skills to translate business questions into technical requirements and analytical solutions are necessary.
Highly resourceful and capable of developing innovative solutions independently is required.
Experience in ensuring data accuracy and compliance with governance standards is necessary.
Proactive, curious, and solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail is essential.
Experience working remotely and consulting experience is preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required, with availability between 10-2 EST.
