Description:
We are looking for a Data Analyst to elevate the company as the leader in customer data platforms.
You will join a growing team that is building a platform to empower modern and omnichannel brands with smart technology, unique customer experiences, and insightful data.
In this role, you will be an integral part of our data team’s success.
You will investigate trends and patterns in e-commerce that fuel best-in-class insights and a reporting toolkit intended to empower our customers with solid insights to drive their business.
As our next Data Analyst, you will be a key member of the Data team and will report directly to our Chief Data Officer.
Your duties will include supporting end-to-end analytics solutions through requirements gathering, establishing key metrics, building data models, designing dashboards and visualizations, and analyzing data to drive actionable insights for our customers and internal teams.
You will deep dive into complex data across various sources, trends, and questions to provide advanced analyses and insights for our customers.
You will optimize, update, review, and troubleshoot data to support new and existing projects and product features in collaboration with the data team.
You will collaborate with product and engineering to build scalable and impactful data solutions and new capabilities.
You will provide comprehensive analytics support to our customers and internal teams and develop resources to empower data access and self-service.
Requirements:
Strong communication skills with the ability to transform data into a story and explain complex concepts to different audiences and various stakeholders are essential.
You should have experience with LookML.
You must have at least 2 years of experience in the e-commerce/marketing industry and in a client-facing role.
Intermediate to advanced experience with SQL is required, along with reporting and visualization tools. Experience with Looker, dbt, Snowflake, GitHub, AWS, and Fivetran is a plus.
You need to be a self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once and be motivated by working in a high-growth, fast-paced, and iterative environment.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet to analyze complex questions, support customer inquiries, and enhance the company's commerce data product are necessary.
You should be adept at turning analyses into actionable recommendations for the business and our customers.
Experience analyzing large datasets from different source structures and data models for reporting consumption is required.
Experience with building or analyzing metrics in an e-commerce business model, including metrics in areas like marketing attribution or web analytics, is a plus.
Benefits:
The position offers a salary range of $1,800-$2,500.
You will have the opportunity to work remotely from the Philippines.
The work hours are full-time and flexible, with some overlap ideally between 12pm - 4pm EST.
This is a minimum 3-month contract position.
