Remote Data Analyst (U.S Business Hours)

Description:

• The Data Analyst position is a full-time remote role based in Romania, requiring work during U.S. business hours.
• The primary responsibility is to provide support for database design, implementation, and maintenance on MS SQL Server databases for Software-as-a-Service customers.
• The role involves automating the extraction and receipt of key data from accounting systems and importing it into the product using flat files in a pre-defined format.
• Key result areas include delivering world-class support, troubleshooting and resolving issues, maintaining customer database extractions, and continuously learning about Sugar and Sales-I products.
• The analyst will document known solutions for internal collaboration and public consumption and will work cohesively with other departments to ensure customer feedback is integrated into the company.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience with MSSQL SQL Server, particularly in writing T-SQL and troubleshooting data imports.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is required, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work well in a team environment and under pressure while prioritizing tasks is essential.
• Good knowledge of ETL processes related to various SQL-based accounting systems, such as Sage, Dynamics, and Epicor, is necessary.
• Familiarity with MS Office, especially Excel, is required.
• Candidates should possess good planning, scheduling, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical individuals.
• A willingness to learn new software systems is also important.
