Remote Data Analyst (US Digital Marketing, Home-based)

Description:

• The Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various databases.
• Work with ad hoc data sets to support business needs and provide timely insights.
• Create detailed reports and dashboards to present findings based on data mining and analysis to stakeholders.
• Use Python or R to create models that provide insight into data sets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and work with engineering to deliver solutions.
• Prescribe datasets to the engineering team and work with them to accomplish analytics projects.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular data validation and quality checks.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis.

Requirements:

• 2 to 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience writing complex SQL queries.
• Experience with Python or R.
• Familiarity with data warehouse systems, specifically Snowflake.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Nice to have: Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Sigma), digital marketing background, AI and machine learning experience, experience in financial modeling, ability to build and segment audiences for targeted marketing campaigns.
