Description:
PERTS seeks a Data Analyst/R Programmer to help shape the national conversation about equity in students’ experiences.
The role involves supporting PERTS and other leading national education organizations in analyzing data about the experiences of students they serve.
The analyst may create reports outlining how students from historically marginalized racial or economic backgrounds can experience more supportive learning environments.
PERTS is located in San Francisco and has a remote working culture that welcomes candidates from across the U.S.
This is a part-time position ranging from 10-15 hours per week, with a flexible work schedule.
The pay range is $45-$50/hr based on experience, education, and location, beginning in Summer 2025.

Requirements:
A commitment to the mission of promoting equity in America’s educational system is essential.
A track record of producing clean, modular, efficient code using the tidyverse and ggplot2 frameworks within R statistical software is required.
Expertise in handling complex data cleaning tasks involving formatting, linking, and analyzing irregular data from multiple sources is necessary.
A growth mindset and a desire to acquire new technical skills are important for success in this role.
