The role of Data Analytics Engineer involves shaping the data landscape for customer-facing applications and internal tools, managing the entire data lifecycle, and empowering data-driven decision-making across the company.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining data pipelines, designing data models, preparing data for analysis, developing dashboards, collaborating with stakeholders, documenting data processes, optimizing performance, and exploring new technologies.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or in a data-oriented software engineering role.
A minimum of 3 years of experience using SQL is required.
Significant experience with at least one visualization tool for building dashboards, such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI is necessary.
Fluency in English is mandatory.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience with dbt and in designing and provisioning data systems, including pipelines and database schemas or data lake tables.
Experience in a SaaS environment, particularly with metrics relevant to customer success, is preferred.
Familiarity with data warehousing solutions like BigQuery or similar is required.
A strong understanding of data security and privacy best practices is essential.
