• The role involves partnering with Product Managers and engineering teams to track and analyze data product initiatives.
• Responsibilities include working with large datasets for data extraction, enrichment, modeling, analysis, presentation, and visualization.
• The position requires ownership of the design, SQL model development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards.
• The Data Analytics Engineer will act as a product owner of the Business Glossary Platform.
• Close collaboration with business teams for data exploration and analysis activities is essential, influencing business KPIs, roadmaps, and prioritization.
• A deep understanding and empathy for customers and their journey with the product from a data perspective is necessary.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Operation Research, or related quantitative disciplines.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics, data warehouse analysis, or data analysis is required, with an e-commerce background being a plus.
• Familiarity with data warehouse concepts such as fact tables, dimensions, star schemas, and slowly changing dimensions is essential.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI tools, as well as data visualization tools like Looker and Tableau, is required.
• Strong hands-on experience in data modeling, data lake, and large-scale data warehousing architecture is necessary.
• Experience in applying data and analytics to solve real-world problems and create new solutions is expected.
• The ability to tell stories with data and deliver data-driven insights to various audiences is crucial.
• An agile mindset for data product development is required.
