Description:
LightFeather is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analytics Engineer with expertise in Databricks, Tableau, Power BI, and Python to join their dynamic team.
In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, reliability, and scalability of the data infrastructure.
Responsibilities include architecting, developing, and maintaining efficient and scalable ETL data pipelines using Databricks and Apache Airflow to automate workflows and transform raw data into actionable insights.
You will gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications and scalable solutions.
The role involves developing and optimizing advanced data workflows for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
You will design and implement rigorous testing, validation, and monitoring strategies to ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity.
Building, maintaining, and enhancing data visualization solutions using Tableau and Power BI to support business intelligence needs is also part of the job.
You will leverage MLFlow in Databricks to manage machine learning model lifecycles and integrate analytics into predictive pipelines, if applicable.
Monitoring and troubleshooting workflows to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime of Databricks pipelines and Airflow DAGs is essential.
Staying up-to-date with the latest tools and advancements in data engineering, analytics, and visualization is expected, along with maintaining comprehensive documentation for all data pipelines, workflows, and configurations.
Requirements:
US Citizenship is required for this position.
An active clearance at the Public Trust level or above is necessary, with IRS clearance preferred.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or in a similar role is mandatory.
Expertise in Databricks, ETL Pipelines, and Python programming is essential.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Snowflake is required.
A solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is necessary.
Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI is required.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset are essential for success in this role.
Experience with Google Analytics is highly desirable but not mandatory.
Familiarity with MLFlow in Databricks to manage machine learning models is a strong plus.
Experience with big data frameworks such as Spark or Kafka is preferred.
Knowledge of version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines for data workflows is beneficial.
