Remote Data / Analytics Engineer (EMEA Remote)

Description:

• ANYbotics, a leading robotics company, is seeking a Data & Analytics Engineer to join their team remotely.
• The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining the BI Data Platform to centralize business data and provide analytics-ready data for decision-making.
• You will work closely with the Director of Business Intelligence to shape and deploy data and BI infrastructure.
• ANYbotics focuses on introducing robotics to various industries like Chemicals, Oil & Gas, Railways, Wind Energy, Mining, and Construction for autonomous inspections and monitoring.
• The company develops customized hardware systems, including robotic platforms, sensors, and software based on AI for increased safety and productivity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering/analytics engineering, including building a BI Data Platform.
• Proficiency in SQL, experience with dbt, and hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes.
• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with cloud-based data warehouses and ETL/ELT tools.
• Ability to work with APIs to extract data from various sources and enforce data governance policies.
• Experience with modern data stack tools and cloud platforms like AWS is a plus.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices for analytics code is beneficial.
