The Data & Analytics Lead for Carrier Solutions will take ownership of data initiatives in this rapidly evolving part of Beam’s business.
This role involves acting as the primary data and analytics partner for Beam’s inaugural carrier solutions client, managing the client relationship, and contributing to data solution development.
Responsibilities include shaping the carrier data strategy, collaborating across teams, ensuring data integrity and visibility, delivering insightful analyses, and laying the groundwork for future growth in analytics for Carrier Solutions.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 10+ years of experience in analytics, analytics engineering, data science, or business intelligence.
A minimum of 3+ years of experience working with external partners or clients in a data-facing role is required, with consulting experience preferred.
Expert technical proficiency in SQL, dbt, and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau) is necessary; knowledge of Python or R is a plus.
A strong understanding of data pipelines, architecture, integration patterns, and warehousing best practices is essential.
Candidates should possess strong business acumen, the ability to think strategically, and effectively communicate data-driven recommendations.
A project management mindset with the ability to build roadmaps and partner with engineering on data product delivery is required; familiarity with Jira is a plus.
Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration across functions.
Experience in the insurance, benefits, or healthcare industries, particularly in carrier-facing roles, is a strong plus.
An entrepreneurial mindset and a hands-on, self-directed approach to building foundations for future growth are essential.

Beam offers a competitive base salary ranging from $150,000 to $175,000, along with an attractive variable compensation structure.
