Description:

The position is for a Data Analytics Principal in Core-Technology at FREE NOW, which offers flexible working locations in Germany, Spain, Poland, Greece, or Portugal.
The role involves being a technical leader in data, focusing on key business initiatives and generating significant business impact.
Responsibilities include providing data craft and cross-functional project leadership, defining standards and guidelines for high-quality deliverables, and collaborating with data leadership on infrastructure and processes.
The principal will lead data projects across the company, manage bottlenecks, and balance business needs with technical constraints.
The role requires ownership of products, monitoring application health, setting KPIs, and mentoring data analysts.
The principal will guide teams through complex scenarios and ensure the sustainability of data practices.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s, Master’s degree, or PhD in fields such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, Psychology, or Economics is required.
At least 8 years of experience in areas like Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, Experimentation/Statistics, or Machine Learning Engineering is necessary.
Candidates must have a strong holistic view of data product implementation and excellent stakeholder management and storytelling skills.
Advanced knowledge and a proven track record in implementing data products and projects are essential.
A strong understanding of the mobility industry and the ability to lead innovation through data utilization is required.
Candidates should be able to break down complex projects into manageable tasks and deliver clear information to various stakeholders.
A highly innovative mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative approach are crucial.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar technologies is required, along with expertise in Advanced Analytics, Automation, or Geospatial Analytics.
Subject Matter Expertise in at least one domain (Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance) and familiarity with multiple facets of Data Analytics are necessary.
