Description:
The position is for a Data Analytics Principal in Core-Technology at FREE NOW, with flexible location options in Germany, Poland, Greece, Portugal, or Spain.
The role involves providing data craft and cross-functional project leadership focused on Data Analytics.
Responsibilities include defining standards and guidelines to ensure high quality and sustainability of deliverables across all DATA domains.
The candidate will work closely with Data leadership to conceptualize and implement infrastructures, processes, and models for understanding data in various market environments.
The role requires leading data projects and initiatives that reach across the entire company.
The candidate will anticipate bottlenecks, manage escalations, and balance business needs with scientific and technical constraints.
The position includes owning a product end-to-end, monitoring application health, performance, and business impact, and setting KPIs.
Mentoring and developing data analysts and guiding teams through complex scenarios are also key responsibilities.
Requirements:
A Bachelor, Master degree, or PhD in fields such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, Psychology, or Economics is required.
At least 8 years of experience in areas such as Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, Experimentation/Statistics, or Machine Learning Engineering is necessary.
The candidate must have a strong holistic view of implementing data products across all data functions and possess strong stakeholder management and storytelling skills.
Advanced knowledge and a proven track record in implementing products and projects while challenging the status quo are essential.
A strong understanding of the mobility industry and the ability to lead innovation through data asset utilization is required.
The candidate should be able to break down complex projects into manageable hypotheses and deliver features successfully and timely.
Strong communication skills to deliver clear information to various stakeholders are necessary.
The candidate must be innovative, possess strong problem-solving skills, and have a solution-oriented, agile mindset.
A hands-on mentality, accountability, and ownership are crucial, along with a collaborative approach and good negotiation skills.
Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and a willingness to learn and receive feedback are important.
Hard skills:
Expert knowledge of SQL, Python, R, or similar technologies for developing Data Analytics projects is required.
Expertise in domains such as Advanced/Predictive Analytics, Automation, or Geospatial Analytics is necessary.
Subject Matter Expertise in at least one domain (Marketing, Product Domains, Operations, Finance) is required.
Proficiency in multiple Data Analytics facets, including insights generation, statistical analysis, data wrangling, and data visualization, is essential.
The candidate should embody best practices for Data Analytics and be eager to learn new languages, frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
