Description:

The Data and Analytics Engineer will architect, build, and optimize the data infrastructure for value-based orthopedic care solutions.
This role involves close collaboration with clinical, operations, and product teams to ensure reliable data pipelines and actionable insights for improving patient outcomes.
The position requires a passion for transforming raw data into meaningful information that drives decision-making while balancing technical rigor with business impact.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 3β5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related technical field.
A proven track record in designing and maintaining data pipelines and data warehouses is essential.
Proficiency with SQL, Python (or similar languages), cloud-based data platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and data integration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt) is required.
Familiarity with healthcare data (EHR systems, claims data, HIPAA compliance) is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities are necessary, with experience in BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) being beneficial.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
A proactive mindset for taking ownership of data initiatives and balancing strategic goals with day-to-day execution is important.
Comfort in evaluating data-related vendors, negotiating contracts, and monitoring vendor performance is expected.
