Description:
The Ambr Group is seeking a Data and Analytics Lead to create and build a vision for how data, information, and insight can help the company grow profitably.
The role involves collecting, centralizing, transforming, and exposing data to stakeholders such as brand managers, operations managers, and executives in a scalable manner.
The Data and Analytics Lead will manage a remote, geographically dispersed team and report to the Head of Marketing & Data.
Responsibilities include defining the analytics reference architecture and a 12-month roadmap, providing leadership and project management oversight for engineering projects, monitoring data availability and accessibility, and building a data governance process.
The position also requires working with stakeholders to define standard business performance reports and communicating business performance across distribution channels.
The lead will develop measurement frameworks for analyzing common business activities and partner with brand managers to formalize experiments aimed at improving business results.
The role requires building a high-performing team of analysts to support the growth of the Ambr Group.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience related to Data Engineering and Data Analytics.
Technical fluency is required, including proficiency in Python, SQL, dbt, Fivetran, Snowflake, and Looker.
Prior experience with Amazon marketplace and DTC datasets such as Shopify, Google Ads, and Meta is necessary.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, with the ability to articulate stakeholder problems precisely.
Prior project management experience is required, along with the ability to communicate and gain buy-in on tradeoffs between scope, schedule, and budget.
A passion for data and analytics within e-commerce is crucial, with an interest in building data structures to support brand decision-making.
Benefits:
The position offers a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $160,000 a year.
