Description:
The Data Architect will play a critical role in shaping and supporting the strategic direction of data initiatives at Servant Digital.
This position involves working closely with the Data Team to evaluate data tools, identify potential gaps in proposed data programs, and focus on data architecture, ETL processes, and database optimization.
A strong emphasis will be placed on data migration and integration efforts.
The role requires a deep understanding of data architecture principles, best practices in data management, and hands-on experience in selecting, deploying, and optimizing data technologies.
Responsibilities include collaborating with the Data Strategist to assess and recommend tools for data storage, integration, processing, and analysis.
Conducting thorough reviews of proposed data architectures to identify gaps or areas of improvement is essential.
The Data Architect will execute data migration efforts, ensuring data integrity, minimal downtime, and seamless integration between legacy and new platforms.
Developing robust, scalable, and secure data architecture that supports current business needs and is adaptable for future growth is a key responsibility.
The role also involves ensuring that all data tools and systems integrate seamlessly with existing infrastructure and align with organizational goals.
Designing and optimizing the flow of data within the organization to ensure efficient processing and improving accessibility for various stakeholders is crucial.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining high levels of data security is a priority.
The Data Architect will work closely with stakeholders and the engineering team to align technical solutions with strategic business goals.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data management, or data engineering.
Proven expertise in designing and implementing large-scale data systems and architectures is essential.
A strong understanding of data modeling, data warehouse best practices, ETL processes, and cloud-based data products is necessary.
Experience with data governance frameworks, security protocols, and compliance standards is required.
The ability to perform cost-benefit analysis and provide TCO estimates for data solutions is important.
Hands-on experience with data integration tools, servicing sales, marketing, financial, and software application teams is needed.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are essential.
Experience in working within a strategic capacity alongside data leaders, such as a Data Strategist or Chief Data Officer, is preferred.
Familiarity with emerging data trends, including big data, machine learning, and AI is a plus.
Knowledge of modern data architectures, such as data lakes, data mesh, or distributed data systems is beneficial.
Experience working remotely is required.
Prior consulting experience is preferred.
