Description:
HSO / Aware is seeking a full-time Data Architect to join their professional services team.
The role involves working on exciting data projects for customers while ensuring best-practice delivery.
Candidates should have a strong software engineering background and experience in designing, implementing, and deploying code and infrastructure on cloud platforms, particularly in data platforms or AI workloads.
The Data Architect will provide technical leadership, support sales in advancing customer journeys, and define best practices to upskill the team.

Requirements:
Candidates must have recent experience (within the last four years) as a consultant in a service delivery organization using the Microsoft Azure stack.
Demonstrated expertise in modern data platforms, including Databricks, Azure Purview, Azure Synapse Analytics, CI/CD Pipelines, and Azure DevOps is required.
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL is essential.
A current Microsoft Solution Architect Expert certification or similar qualifications in Data and AI on Azure or Databricks platforms is necessary.
A solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices and their application to modern data solutions is required.
Proven ability to understand customer needs and design, scope, quote, model, and deliver production-ready solutions is essential.
Candidates should be able to think beyond immediate solutions, considering integration with other technologies, with cross-functional skills in DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Machine Learning being a bonus.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical audiences are necessary.
A passion for learning and staying ahead of emerging technologies is important.
Strong business acumen with the ability to bridge gaps between business requirements and technology is required.
