Description:

  • The Data Architect will solve business problems and has over 7 years of experience in Data Engineering.
  • The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, Data Engineers, DevOps Architects, and Data Scientists to understand business domains and lead the development of data products.
  • Responsibilities include designing data architecture for high volume, velocity, and variety of data sets, defining technology stacks for projects, and exploring new technologies in data engineering.
  • The Data Architect will write efficient code using modern Data Engineering technologies, including Apache Kafka, AWS Glue, PySpark, Presto, Amazon Redshift, and SnowFlake.
  • The work environment is casual and focuses on productivity and creativity, steering clear of rigid corporate culture.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Hadoop-based distributed computing, specifically with PySpark and Presto.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with at least one ETL tool such as Informatica, Talend, or Matillion.
  • At least 4 years of experience in one programming language, including Python, Java, or Scala.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with at least one data warehouse, such as Amazon Redshift or SnowFlake.
  • At least 2 years of experience with real-time processing engines like Storm, Spark Streaming, or Flink.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience writing SQL queries.
  • Hands-on experience in data modeling, data visualization, and pipeline design and development is essential.
  • Candidates should have experience working independently and driving projects end-to-end, along with strong analytical skills.
