Description:

The Data Architect will design and implement data architecture solutions for clients, focusing on data modeling, integration, and analytics.
This role involves leading architectural discussions and design exercises for large-scale data migrations with cross-functional teams in the US, Portugal, and Costa Rica.
The successful candidate will have hands-on experience migrating critical databases across multiple platforms and will develop database migration solutions to ensure effective and secure data storage.
The Data Architect will collaborate with Sales teams to provide pre-sales architecture expertise for optimal engagement scoping.
Strong communication skills are essential for guiding clients and project team members.
Responsibilities include designing scalable data architectures, developing data models, implementing data integration solutions, optimizing performance, enforcing data governance, and providing consulting to clients.
The role also involves staying updated with trends in data architecture and cloud technologies, and working closely with the sales organization to build proposals.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 6+ years of proven work experience in data warehousing, BI, or analytics.
A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Architect is required.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience working with Cloud platforms.
A Bachelorโs Degree in computer science, information systems, Mathematics, MIS, or a related field is necessary.
Strong knowledge of data integration techniques, including ETL/ELT processes, is required.
Project management skills and experience with Scrum and Agile Development methods are essential.
Extensive hands-on experience in data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning is required.
Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages, such as Python, for data manipulation and automation is necessary.
Experience with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks is required.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are essential, along with strong communication and presentation skills.
A proven track record of leading successful data architecture projects within timelines and budget constraints is necessary.
